PolyBola is a parimutuel prediction market. Predicting real-world events carries real financial risk. You can lose the full amount you stake on any market. Only participate with funds you can afford to lose. Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, or betting advice.
Unlike a fixed-odds bookmaker, PolyBola does not lock in a price when you place a prediction. Stakes on each outcome are pooled together. A platform fee is deducted from the pool, and the remainder is shared among everyone who backed the winning outcome, in proportion to their stake.
Because of this, the multiplier or return shown when you place a prediction is only a live estimate based on the current state of the pool. The actual payout is known only when the market closes and settles, and it may be lower or higher than indicated at the time you entered.
Past performance is not indicative of future results. There is no strategy that guarantees a profit, and you should never treat predicting as a source of income or a way to recover previous losses.
