Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PolyBola (“PolyBola”, “we”, “us” or “our”), including our website, waitlist, and — once launched — our peer-to-peer parimutuel prediction market for football events (the “Service”). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction. The Service may not be available in all locations, and we may restrict access where required by law. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

2. Pre-launch & waitlist

The Service is currently in pre-launch. Creating an account reserves your username and places you on our waitlist; it does not grant access to trading, deposits, or withdrawals, which become available only when the Service formally launches. We make no guarantee as to if or when launch will occur, and we may change or discontinue the Service at any time.

3. How the market works

PolyBola operates a parimutuel model: stakes on each outcome of a market are pooled, a platform fee is taken from the pool, and the remainder is distributed to those who backed the winning outcome, pro-rata to their stake. Odds are not fixed at the time you place a prediction — your potential return depends on the final composition of the pool when the market closes. PolyBola is not a bookmaker and does not take a position against you.

4. Risk disclosure

Predicting real-world events involves risk. You can lose the full amount you stake.

5. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per person. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are involved in fraud or abuse.

6. Funds & settlement (post-launch)

When live, balances are denominated in USDC and held in an internal ledger. Deposits and withdrawals are processed via a third-party on/off-ramp provider, subject to their terms and to identity-verification (KYC/AML) requirements. Markets are settled against official event results; a platform fee is deducted from each pool. Settlement decisions made in good faith are final save for manifest error.

7. Acceptable use

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its branding, design and content, is owned by PolyBola and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolyBola is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any loss of stake, profits, or data arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, notified by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
